Every summer, the International Aegean Film Festival becomes a meeting point for filmmakers, audiences, and artists to celebrate the finest in independent cinema and storytelling. This unique event wouldn’t be possible without the talented individuals who have contributed to its success over the years.
We are excited to announce that we are currently looking to fill the positions of Echoes Coordinator and Marketing, Digital & Outreach Coordinator for the upcoming 2025 Festival. Job Title: Echoes Coordinator
Position Overview
The Aegean Film Festival is seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to join the 2025 Festival team. The successful candidate will have strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, along with excellent communication and research skills. A passion for environmental sustainability is essential for this role and a good knowledge of the film industry is definitely a bonus. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, marketing, and coordination of one of the Festival’s most impactful programmes, Echoes, which explores the intersection of cinema and environmental action.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Programming to design and deliver the Echoes environmental screenings and associated events, including panels and activities.
- Manage invitations, responses, and communications with programme participants, including guest speakers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Echoes Programme and oversee its delivery onsite.
- Engage with local and international environmental communities.
- Research and implement methods to reduce the Festival’s carbon footprint and achieve greater sustainability.
- Produce detailed post-event reports and analyses.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the environmental industries – knowledge or interest in the film industry also encouraged!
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong proofreading abilities.
- Proficiency in MacOS, Google Workspace, WordPress, and other relevant software tools.
- Proficiency in tools like Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience in event coordination or festival management.

Job Title: Marketing Digital & Outreach Coordinator
Position Overview
The Aegean Film Festival seeks a skilled Marketing Digital & Outreach Coordinator to lead the 2025 Festival’s marketing strategy. This role involves developing campaigns, managing outreach, and engaging diverse audiences. The ideal candidate has proven experience in marketing, audience engagement, and knowledge of the film industry, with strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, manage outreach campaigns, secure media partnerships, oversee branding, and monitor budget.
- Execute campaigns, share real-time content, and manage media/stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate with the Festival’s graphic designing team to enhance and evolve the AegeanFF brand identity.
- Develop CRM strategies, create newsletters, and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Evaluate campaign success, compile press reports, and maintain partnerships for future events.
Qualifications

Required: 3+ years in marketing, strong knowledge of the film industry is encouraged, digital expertise, budget management, and fluency in English and Greek.

Desirable: Familiarity with graphic design tools and a driver’s license.
