OPENING CEREMONY &
OPENING FILM (BANEL E ADAMA)
The Opening Ceremony of the 13th edition of the Aegean Film Festival will take place on Friday 19th at Marianna Cinema in Patmos.
At the purpose-built main open-air cinema, we will host a magical opening screening, where guests, pass holders and audiences can meet some of the festival’s outstanding talent to celebrate together independent cinema.

OPENING PARTY
Let’s celebrate the start of the 13th Aegean Film Festival, after the opening film and documentary screenings, in one of our all-time favourite bars of Skala. Drinks, summer tunes and a special surprise performance.

Free admission for pass holders or ticket holders of opening film and documentary • Entrance profits will be turned into trees on the island.
TARSANAS POPUP CINEMA & DINNER
On Sunday the 21st of July, Patmos Marine and Tarsanas restaurant will be turned into an open-air pop-up cinema offering a special dinner followed by the premiere of Parthenope.

FULL MOON PARTY
Join the festival guests, filmmakers and pass holders in this magical full-moon party following the screening of the premiere of Parthenope.

ECHOES BOAT RIDE AND LUNCH FOR POSEIDONIA
The Aegean Film Festival offers an opportunity to experience blue carbon ecosystems in the neighbouring waters of the Arki and Leipsi islands. A boat ride excursion for diving to observe Posidonia meadows.

At the garden of Benetos restaurant, on the afternoon of Wednesday the 24th of July, participating filmmakers, industry guests, and pass holders are invited to join the festival programmers for drinks, special Benetos delicacies, and cinema talks.

ECHOES LUNCH
On the final day of the Aegean Film Festival, after four days of immersive environmental cinema and discussions, we invite you to gather one last time for a communal Echoes lunch at Pernera Vegan.
This is a moment to come together and celebrate the new friendships we’ve forged, the films that inspired – and maybe changed something in us, and the ideas we’ve exchanged. Let’s honor the shared experiences and the knowledge we’ve gained, and consider how we can turn it into action. The Echoes lunch provides the perfect setting to reflect on this year’s Echoes program and collaboratively plan our next, even more sustainable steps.
