Availability in Hours per Month (January - May)*
As a minimum requirement to become a member of the Pre-Selection Team, please note that you need to allocate at least 10 hours per month for rating films.
If your availability changes before the end of May (deadline of the pre-selection period), please notify us as soon as possible, so we can reallocate your films. All the viewing should be done independently and please don’t discuss submissions with other reviewers.
Selection Process
The selection of the AegeanFF Programmes is carried out by 3 independent teams:
The Pre-Selection Team, consisting of a diverse group of 20 people from more than 10 countries including experienced and young filmmakers, film critics, past alumni, as well as cinema students. Each film submitted or invited is reviewed by at least three members of the Pre-Selection Team and rated using 6 criteria on a 1-10 scale (Originality, Direction, Script, Performances, Cinematography, Sound). Based on their average score, the top 50 shortlisted films are reviewed again by the whole Programming Team.
The Advisory Board, contributing with suggestions and ideas for invited shorts and features.
The Programming Team, curating the official programmes from the top rated submitted or invited films.

Parties

The AEGEAN FILM FESTIVAL, a non profit Organisation with registered address 79 Ath. Karali, Papagou, Athens, 15669, VAT number EL997003326 and registered tax office at DOY Cholargou, called the Organiser and the person with the above details (form) called the TEAM MEMBER

Article 1 - Confidentiality Obligation for Submitted films: As a member of the Aegean Film Festival Pre-Selection Team, I hereby pledge that in accepting this role:

1. I will NOT divulge or utilize confidential information gained from rating submissions, or discuss with any other party, any details of any entry that I am required to rate;

2. I will perform the task required of me to the best of my ability and in accordance with the procedures set down and described in the Rating Guide provided by the festival at https://aegeanff.com/Rating-guide and in the spirit of the program, without bias or prejudice to any entrant or entry;

3. I will declare to the Organizer any involvement that I have had in any entry listed for me to rate;

4. I will not copy or retain any entry material I access during the online or live rating process, nor remove any written notice, material, score sheet, document or part of any entry.

Article 2 - Confidentiality Obligation for the Organization
1. The Team Member will keep information about the Organization, the films, the programmes, the procedures and the filmmakers confidential unless the Organization consents to the disclosure of the information. This applies to information related to the Organization's operations, programming, contacts, financial information, business plans, as well as PR strategies and internal production matters.
2. The Team Member also declares not to disclose data or non public information about other team members, volunteers, board or other officials of the Organization without the permission of this person and the Organization
